Car Rental – Damage Management Policy

What happens if the rental car is damaged?

At GlobalAirHub.com, most customers drive responsibly and incidents are rare. However, in the unlikely event that a rental vehicle is damaged, it is important to understand how such situations are managed.

To ensure transparency, GlobalAirHub.com has established a Damage Management Policy that explains how damage is assessed and how related charges may apply. Please review this policy carefully along with our Terms & Conditions for full details.

You May Not Be Fully Liable

Your financial responsibility for vehicle damage may be limited or eliminated depending on the rental protection or coverage you selected at the time of booking. Coverage varies by plan, so we strongly recommend reviewing your Terms & Conditions to understand your level of protection.

Types of Damage

  • Light Damage: Minor dents, chips, scratches, or cosmetic damage, as well as loss, theft, or damage to accessories, documents, or keys.
  • Tyre Replacement: Applies when damage to a tire requires full replacement.
  • Serious Damage: Any damage that does not fall under Light Damage, Tyre Replacement, or Total Loss.
  • Total Loss: When the vehicle is damaged beyond repair or when repair is deemed impractical or impossible.

Damage Identified at Vehicle Return

When you return the vehicle, it will be inspected in your presence.

If Light Damage is identified:

  • You will receive an invoice outlining the applicable charges.
  • By signing the vehicle return statement, you acknowledge and accept the damage.
  • A Light Damage Administration Charge will be included as per policy.

If Serious Damage or Total Loss is identified:

  • A vehicle return statement describing the damage
  • Photographic evidence of the damage
  • An invoice including:
    • Applicable administration charges (Serious Damage or Tyre/Windscreen Damage)
    • Engineer’s assessment fee (excluding tyre and windscreen damage)
    • Loss‑of‑use charges for vehicle downtime

All administration and assessment charges are disclosed at the time of booking. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions for exact amounts.

Damage Identified After Rental Completion

If damage is discovered after the vehicle has been returned and the rental period has ended, you will be provided with:

  • The vehicle return statement
  • Photographic evidence of the damage
  • A detailed invoice including:
    • Applicable administration charges
    • Engineer’s assessment fee (if applicable)
    • Loss‑of‑use charges (for serious damage or total loss)

All administration and assessment charges are disclosed at the time of booking. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions for exact amounts.

Claims & Disputes

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the identified damage or charges, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving the documentation. If no response is received within this period, an invoice for the applicable charges may be issued.
